Campus Life

Life on St Vladimir’s Seminary's campus and living in an Orthodox community is a gift to all of us who live here – but it can also be somewhat of a burden for those who live, work, and attend classes here, 24/7.  We hope that these guidelines will be a positive and helpful structure for making sure we all remain in harmony with each other and keep our campus safe.

Children on Campus

We are fortunate to have a very safe and quiet campus, somewhat hidden here in Westchester County, which is a small paradise for the kids! There are many places for children to play safely on campus. However, there are many places that are not child-friendly and sometimes we do see strangers walking around on campus (mistaking it for a park!). Take care to keep your children within eyesight at all times and be wary of non-residents you see on campus. Unattended children are forbidden to enter staff residential areas and single student dormitories. Children must be supervised at all times. If you see a potentially dangerous object or person on campus, please call (914) 874-7835 to alert seminary staff.
