Campus Life

Life on St Vladimir’s Seminary's campus and living in an Orthodox community is a gift to all of us who live here – but it can also be somewhat of a burden for those who live, work, and attend classes here, 24/7.  We hope that these guidelines will be a positive and helpful structure for making sure we all remain in harmony with each other and keep our campus safe.

Apartment & Dorm Living

We all live in close quarters here and walls tend to be thin! If you have ever lived in an apartment complex, you know that it is upsetting when the person above or below you is blasting music all through the night. An appropriate atmosphere of quiet, conducive to study, prayer, meditation, and rest, is to be maintained in the seminary residential areas. Profane or loud talking, noisy gatherings, and parties are forbidden. The campus-wide curfew is 10:00 p.m. Please be mindful of your neighbors and respect normal sleeping hours and noise levels as best you can.
